Elected every year at our AGM, our committee are voted for by our members and are responsible for all things Carnival RAG. From promoting and running our events, meeting every week to discuss all things Carnival RAG and working with the rest of Team Carnival, our committee all dedicate their time and work hard to ensure the success of Carnival RAG.

Charlie is a 4th year Business Management student who has been involved with Carnival RAG since he joined the University. Having completed a year in industry during his 3rd year he became president to help grow the society so Carnival RAG can raise even more for charity.

Rhiannon is undertaking a Masters in Cancer Sciences having studied Human Biology. She has been involved with Carnival RAG since her first year, she has undertaken the role as the Adopt a Charity Coordinator for the past two years and is excited to take on the role of Vice President.

Will is a final year Nuclear Science and Materials student. He has been involved in LOST in his first year, and the Kilimanjaro Trek in second year. He joined committee this year to help deliver to others the experiences that he has had through Carnival Rag since he started in 2016.

Adam is a third year Nuclear Engineering student who has completed an Everest Base Camp in first year and a Kilimanjaro Trek as a Challenge Leader in second year with Carnival RAG. In his new committee role Adam plans to raise awareness of the treks and develop further the strong community network in Carnival.

Harry is studying his PGCE in Maths after completing his undergraduate in Sociology at the university. He has completed Carnival RAG's Machu Picchu Trek and challenge led the Everest Base Camp trek in the following year. He joined committee this year to stay involved in the society's activities and help grow our campaign activities.

Elise is a final year Ancient History and Archaeology student. She got involved with RAG in her second year, as a RAG recruit for design and participating in the Gorilla Trek challenge event. Elise is part of the Outreach and Engagement team on committee because she wants to give back the inclusive feeling that she felt when getting involved with Carnival.

Annie is a second year Annie is a second year English student. She got involved in RAG in her first year as a recruit in the role of social secretary. Annie is a part of the Outreach and Engagement team in the committee as she wants to be even more involved with RAG herself, whilst involving more members of the university with our charities and the society.

Rosie is a second year Policy, Politics and Economics student. In her first year Rosie was the RAG Communications recruit and was a participant on the Gorilla Trek. Being highly commended for outstanding contribution last year, Rosie looks to continue her role in our Carnival Committee as a communication officer.

Prithvi is a second year Chemical Engineering student who has helped out at Guide Dog Day and has taken part in RAG Raids over his first year at Uni, as well as attending the many socials. As one of Carnival RAG's Communications Officers for this year, he hopes to increase the presence of RAG at the University and help people get involved!

Layla is a final year Theology and Religion student. She has undertaken a variety of events RAG has to offer starting: Enigma in first year followed by LOST and First Dates in her second year. She has joined the committee in hope that she can help Carnival Rag continue to be a success this year by helping to deliver some of the amazing experiences she has been lucky enough to be a part of since 2016.

Emma is a third year Education and Sociology student. Emma attended a number of events in her first year but her involvement in RAG grew massively in her second year where she was a LOST participant, Carnival Cupid, and a Carnival Chute participant. Emma is looking forward to organising Carnival RAG's very first RAG week in their 130 year history and to make it a memorable week.

Melanie is a second year Biology student. In her first year she took part in a number of RAG events as well as attending a number of Carnival RAG's amazing social events. Melanie is looking to bring a new, fresh look to Carnival’s designs and to capture the eye of as many new people as possible so that together Carnival RAG can continue to break records and raise even money for all of our amazing causes.

Elisha is in her final year studying Biochemistry. She has been involved in RAG events since beginning university. In first year she completed LOST, the Three Peaks Challenge and was a back at baser for Escape and Evade. In second year she became the leader for the Kilimanjaro Trek, participated in ENIGMA and helped out with first dates. Becoming part of the committee was the next step to take and she is excited to have a successful year inspiring people to take part in events.

Atalanta is a second year law student. She has been involved with Carnival RAG since she started at the university through a number of activities including the Carnival RAG treasure hunt, a number of Carnival RAG Raids, and our famous guide dog day. She joined the committee because she has always enjoyed working with lots of different charities, and wanted to get more involved with the organisation and running of Carnival RAG at the university.
